Miol makes the "Lifetime Map Update" available when you purchase most Mios.
Mio devices have so far been marketed with the “Latest Map Guarantee” in order to provide drivers with the latest maps as road networks are constantly changing and expanding. “Lifetime Map Update” now makes it available to users for the entire lifetime of most devices to reach their destination using their navigation device. The updated map feature also allows them to find newly opened restaurants, museums and other exciting new places they don’t want to miss.
Community maps
Mio “Lifetime Map Update” uses a variety of sources to ensure the reliability of your maps. Map data is recorded and verified from tens of thousands of global sources, from government documents and public safety officials to construction companies and truck drivers working in specialized fields. They also take into account satellite and aerial imagery as well as data generated by mobile mapping units. In addition, Mio treats data received and verified from millions of driver communities as a key source, especially in sparsely populated areas that are less processed by other sources. In this way, the globally growing community of map users themselves will contribute useful data to the digital maps of the future.
Easy registration
All users will receive a “Lifetime Map Update” if they register their new Mio within 30 days on this on the site. After a few simple steps, you will receive an activation key on your screen, instructions, and a message to the email address you provided, each time a new map is available. Maps are available until the useful life of the product (the period during which your Mio can support / service the product) expires or your Mio receives updated map data or support software from your vendor, whichever comes first. introduced first.
Availability
