New Intel processors will be quite expensive
The ninth-generation Core processor family came up with a distributor in Singapore (BizGram).
It is exactly a handout that shows the upcoming CPUs and their prices. The prices shown below presumably already include VAT, which is similar to the one we have in terms of digits, “only” only the number two is missing - for the sake of the weaker ones: 7%.
- Intel Core i9-9900K (8 cores / 16 threads): $ 480
- Intel Core i7-9700K (8 cores / 8 threads): $ 375
- Intel Core i5-9600K (6 cores / 6 threads): $ 270
- Intel Core i3-9350K (4 cores / 4 threads): $ 185
The above numbers are really surprising given that, according to preliminary measurements, the Core i7-9700K isn’t really able to outperform the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X processor, which is a model just under $ 300. The situation of the Core i5-9600K will not be easy either, this model can fight the Ryzen 7 2700. It seems crazy that Intel set prices quite thickly with pencils due to supply problems, so unfortunately we don’t really have a chance at a price competition.
