More and more Google+ users

More than 400 million Google+ profiles have been created worldwide.
This was announced by Vic Gundotra (Senior Vice President, Google) in his Google+ post. For the general public, registration started just a year ago, during which time Google+ reached that number of users. While Google+ is a social layer that weaves the web for the company, a project to make the web better, an important milestone is that the social site has exceeded 100 million active users per month (plus.google.com and via mobile application).

Of course, that doesn’t mean Facebook’s position would be in jeopardy, but it has already proven worth taking the U.S. search giant seriously.
