At least in terms of video memory, if the information from Videocardz is verified.

At the level of an 8-year-old AMD Radeon, could the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti?

It’s hard to decide whether to cry or laugh at the latest rumors that NVIDIA’s upcoming mid-range card, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, will also be available in a 3,0GB version. The news is based on ASUS because they are theoretically preparing for the start on February 22 with the following cards:

  • DUAL-GTX1660Ti-3G - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti DUAL
  • DUAL-GTX1660Ti-A3G - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti DUAL Advanced
  • DUAL-GTX1660Ti-O3G - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti DUAL OC
  • EX-GTX1660Ti-O3G ASUS - GTX 1660 Ti EXPEDITION OC
  • PH-GTX1660Ti-3G - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti PHOENIX
  • PH-GTX1660Ti-O3G - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti PHOENIX OC
  • TUF-GTX1660Ti-3G-GAMING - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti TUF
  • TUF-GTX1660Ti-O3G-GAMING - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti TUF OC
  • TURBO-GTX1660Ti-3G - ASUS GTX 1660 Ti TURBO

Each of the above models will also have a 6,0GB copy, and the ASUS GTX 1660 Ti ROG STRIX Advanced and ASUS GTX 1660 Ti ROG STRIX OC are the only ones expected to do so. By the way, the manufacturer is thinking quite a lot, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti can be included in a total of six product families: DUAL, Expedition, Phoenix, TUF, Turbo and ROG STRIX.

After closing, we note that the AMD Radeon HD 2011, released in the winter of 7970, was also equipped with 3,0GB of onboard memory. In fact, Turing uses a significantly more advanced design than the aforementioned solution, however, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti can / will be a rather grotesque sight in this form.
