According to unofficial information, the Radeons would live on the old socket.

Currently, the X1950 Pro and HD 2600/2400 cards dominate the AGP market, and it seems NVIDIA still doesn’t want to please users who own old machines with a next-generation card equipped with AGP. Of course, AMD can only rejoice in this, as according to the current position, it has become their job to take care of the AGP graphics card market.

According to The Inquirer, they take this task so seriously that the HD 3800 cards, which will be released in the second half of November, will not only come with a PCIe interface. According to leaked plans, the AGP version of the slower HD 3850 is already being made, making it not only the most powerful, but also the only DX 10.1 alternative for users unwilling to change their configuration.

Nothing to know about the exact specifications yet, however, it is already certain that the power supply has been solved by the engineers. To bring the card to life, you will need two free molex connectors that, when connected to the converter, can provide the RV670 circuits with the appropriate souffle without any problems.
