DVD Identifier 4.0 with blu-ray support
A new version of a program that specializes in recognizing DVDs has been released, with more unique features.
With DVD Identifier, you can find out the type, ID, manufacturer, maximum capacity, supported write speeds, and much more of a DVD.
Using the program a MediaMatch on our website we can also look after the records marketed by the given manufacturer.
The data on a DVD is usually only readable by DVD writers, so DVD readers try in vain.
Changes in the new version:
- Blu-ray disk recognition using drivers that support the format.
- Recognize single-layer or dual-layer DVD + RW discs that can be rewritten at 8x speed.
- Redesigned user interface.
- Lots of bug fixes, updated database.
Support for HD-DVDs will also be included soon, but testing is hampered by the fact that no drive that supports this format has yet been officially released.
The program is completely free, but you can only speak English.
