The price of train tickets purchased online or on a mobile phone is falling

Based on the decision of the Ministry of National Development, the railway company will give a three percent discount from July 2013, XNUMX to all its Internet and mobile phone customers who choose the option of home printing or digital presentation.

With home printing, you can buy domestic, one-way tickets, replacement and seat tickets, livestock and bicycle tickets, not season tickets and international tickets. All social or business travel discounts can be claimed in the system. To avoid abuse, the ticket printed at home is named, valid only between the stations indicated on it, on a specific day. The ticket price can only be refunded electronically until 12 noon the day before the day of travel (unless the passenger becomes entitled to a refund due to a fault on the part of the railway company).

In addition to the price reduction, the terms of use will also be more favorable from Monday. While tickets have so far only been valid for trains pre-selected by the passenger, from XNUMX July this restriction will only apply to flights subject to replacement and ticketing. Thus, the ticket printed at home can be used on the day indicated on it and on any train between stations that can be used without any additional ticket - basic fare.
