Who needs a watchdog when a paintball "sentinel" can "protect" us completely automatically?

We are sure that many of our readers have already encountered the so-called Sentry Gun in a computer game. Now, with an open source project, we can try it out in live conditions. The list of accessories needed for this looks like this:

• An airsoft or paintball gun is essential.
• Webcam due to moving destinations.
• A computer that processes data and targets.
• A servo motor that controls the gun and pulls the trigger.
• Microcontroller between computer and servo motor.
• An open source application.
• Stable stand
• Lots of toner cartridges

In practice, the "dirty work" is done by airsoft or paintball guns. For the sake of more fun, the latter is mainly recommended. If all the tools are given, then we place the webcam on the stand, since it will transmit the information to the laptop, which moves the gun through the servo motor. Once the goal has been measured, even hiding behind a tree will not save us.
