Will the first Nokia WP7 arrive next year only? - Updated!

According to the latest news, Nokia's novelty may not arrive until the beginning of 2012.

There hasn’t been much new news about the Nokia WP7 lately. This may also be due to information from Nokia's Australian branch that it is unlikely that the first WP7 device will hit store shelves before the first quarter of 2012.

If all goes according to plan, the novelty may be visible to the general public this year, but we can only buy it next year. This is not very good news for the Finns, as there have been plenty of new smartphones to host at Christmas for years. According to current information, the first WP7 device will come with the Mango system, which will be powered by a processor running at 1 GHz. A 3,9-inch panel is responsible for the display, while our photos will be captured with 8-megapixel Carl-Zeiss optics. The date of the domestic debut is not yet known.

Update: Stephen Elop recently announced that Nokia will launch the first WP7 handset later this year, so the news that the novelty could only arrive early next year will certainly only apply to Australia.
