Tubular motherboard in the care of Jetway

The manufacturer's latest release is for Intel processors.

HI03 uses the popular P35 + ICH9 chipset, which handles Intel processors up to 1333 MHz system bus. This is nothing out of the ordinary so far, but if we look at memory support, the Jetway board can already show more unique features. Of the 6 slots on the board, four have DDR2-800 memory cards and the remaining two have DDR3-800 / 1066 memory chips. The additional features of HI03 are largely the same as those seen on most P35 boards, there may be only some differences in the use of one or two controllers.

We cannot go without a word on the layout of the printed circuit board. It’s rare to see such a crowded and awful layout sheet, though we don’t know too much about the manufacturer’s work so far. The left part of HI03 is still quite good, however, moving towards heat tube cooling, more and more serious faults can be detected on the PCB. These are mostly inconveniences of convenience, but they could also pay attention to user considerations with such a fitted sheet. After all, the first error is not so new, we can already see an example of a memory expansion limit for longer VGAs. Going upwards, however, we can discover an almost banal mistake. The molex power connector prepared for CF makes it impossible to plug anything due to the tube just winding above it. A SATA port plugged between the cooling rib of the PWM chips and the back panel connectors is also not a very elegant solution. The 8-pin power connector isn't too familiar either, although it's not that much of a wire cut, at least we can plug the included cable into it.

So this would be Jetway’s new P35 page, we don’t have information on its price.
