Is the Radeon X2900XTX sliding?

According to inside information on the techPowerUp site, AMD is slipping the presentation of the new Radeon series.

According to the information so far, the novelty would have been presented at CeBIT, but if the news is true, the manufacturer will postpone the debut of the cards until the second quarter of 2007.

We have no information on the reasons for the postponement. The slip can be quite inconvenient, as NVIDIA is already preparing for the 8900 Series demo, so ATI will be forced to suffer another slap. The Calvary of the Canadian manufacturer is slowly recalling in us the problems surrounding products based on the R520 core. Even then, we could only guess the reason for the slip, everyone was hoping to come up with a revolutionary solution in return, but that remained a dream at the time.

In the present situation, many people are guessing whether the number of transistors according to the leaked information is true, and if it is true, what amount is used by the manufacturer. Among the ideas was the possibility of integrating a physical coprocessor, which would really be a revolutionary solution if it were true. If the techPowerUp information is correct, we can only be sure in months.
