Cooler Master HAF Stacker series
On Tuesday, cooler Master released the world's "first" computer case series that can be assembled from pieces, the HAF Stacker series.
The new line combines the company’s High Air Flow (HAF) and Stacker housings into a series that retains both Stacker’s incredible storage and interior space offerings and HAF’s water / air cooling design. Three fully collapsible or, if you like, cutable models are available. The large tower HAF 935, which consists of a HAF 915R and a HAF 925 unit, is the mini ITX HAF 915R and the also mini ITX HAF 915F.
Each model offers incredible solutions, and for functionality, each model can be paired with any member of the series.
The shoe box-sized HAF 915F is a miniITX housing that can hold up to 310mm long graphics cards, as well as standard-sized power supplies built into the front of the housing for better cable routing. It also supports large CPU coolers like the Hyper 212 Plus and even a 360mm long water cooler radiator if the unit is only for water cooling. In addition, 6 HDD storage compartments can be built in if you only want to store hard disks in it.
The HAF 915R, also with shoe box sizes, is also a miniITX housing with similar capacity as the 915F. Here, however, the location of the power supply is already on the back panel. If we only use it to store HDDs, it grows a little above the 915F: we can put a 92mm fan in the front that delivers cool air directly to the hard drives. It can hold up to nine 3,5-inch hard drives or twelve 2,5-inch drives.
The large tower is the HAF 935, which consists of an HAF 925 and an HAF 915R. This setup allows the installation of four 5,25-inch drives (three bottom + one above), nine 3,5-inch hard drives (3 in modular storage), and ten expansion cards (8 bottom + two above). How many fans we can install also depends on what pieces we assemble our house from.
This series offers us a lot of opportunities. Just a few examples of the options…. a primary system on top with a guest machine or a NAS server or a water cooling box, or there may be a water cooling box on the bottom in the middle of the primary system on top with a toy mixer and so on the end result depends only on our imagination or wallet!
