CeBIT 2008: Video card cooling in Zalman mode

Noiseless VGA cooler from Zalman.

The VNF200 is entirely made of copper, and at first glance it is a completely "ordinary" solution, a combination of heat pipes and lamellas. Yes, but Zalman's engineers determined the location of the rib in such a way that in a standard housing it receives fresh air from the front and/or rear system cooling fans as well as from the direction of the central unit. The idea is interesting and noteworthy, the only question is what this means in practice, expressed in degrees Celsius.
