Recall Canon digital cameras

Although the recall rate is not so significant, some models of the PowerShot series sold in Hungary can be very dangerous.

The promotion only applies to the A530 and A540 models of the PowerShot family, including those with a production number starting with 21, 22, 23 or 24. This ID is located on the bottom of the digital camera. Of course, the manufacturer will repair the device free of charge, whether it is under warranty or not.

Canon has not yet commented on the cause of the problem, all that can be known is that in the case of products that "meet" the above requirements, the device overheats around the battery storage compartment to such an extent that it can cause serious burns, and the batteries may discharge prematurely, and certain in some cases, the size of the photos does not match the value specified in the settings.
