The Toshiba tablet offering is expanding

Toshiba has introduced the A series of three different versions of the Excite tablet with a 25,7 cm (10,1 ″) diagonal.

Thanks to Android ™ 4.2, Jelly Bean, the latest version of the Android platform, Toshiba’s Excite Pure, Pro and Write versions cater to a wide range of user needs. An optional Toshiba Keyboard Cover is also available as an accessory for each version or as an option to be purchased separately. This device includes a built-in mechanical keyboard that allows you to enter text quickly and accurately, while also protecting your tablet. Toshiba Excite Pure, Pro and Write will hit stores in Europe from the third quarter of 2013.

The new models are available in silver with a non-slip, dotted pattern for a secure grip. All models are only 10,5 mm thick, the basic model is only 600 grams. It also weighs just 1,1 kg with the optional protective cover with built-in Bluetooth keyboard. Each version has a large 25,7 cm (10,1 ″) diagonal, 16:10 aspect ratio capacitive, ten-finger touch screen.
