Point of View unveiled its first ION netbook

The central unit comes from Intel, all the other NVIDIA. One exaggeration of course…

However, the netbook named Mobii ION 230 does not offer this kind of "freedom", since only one central unit makes up the range, namely the single-core Intel Atom 1,6 with a clock signal of 230 GHz.

Nevertheless, the Point of View laptop still outperforms most netbooks in terms of overall performance, as the CPU is served by NVIDIA ION. Accordingly, the 10,2-inch, 1024 × 600 pixel resolution display is powered by the GeForce 9400 mGPU, which equips the machine in black, green and red with features such as knowledge of DirectX 10.0 and smooth playback of HD material.

In terms of other features, the PoV is also well-suited, as the equipment is completed by components such as Realtek HD audio, 1 GB DDR2 system memory, 160 GB hard disk, gigabit network controller, 802.11b / g compliant Wi-Fi, HDMI output, two USB 2.0 ports, an audio output and a microphone input, a 1,3 megapixel webcam and a pair of 2 × 1,5 W speakers.

The Mobii ION 230, which comes with the Linux operating system, weighs less than 1,4 kg, and its battery can be three- or six-cell, with a capacity of 2200 or 4400 mAh.
