The new TouchWiz 4 already uses the accelerometer smartly (with video!)

A Samsung its new user interface also includes features never seen before.

Although it has not yet been published, the dissertation is already in full swing in the forum Samsung  about its long-awaited flagship, the legitimate heir to the throne of the Galaxy S, which is still very popular today. We’ve written about the new Android “miracle phone” countless times in the columns of the site, but somehow we haven’t spoken too many times about the Samsung-created interface, which bears the precious name TouchWiz (maybe because there wasn’t why?). Now, however, it turns out that TouchWiz 4.0, which debuted on SGS II, has got a lot of (operational) solutions in addition to graphical innovations that make much more "smarter" use of the gyro sensor (accelerometer, motion sensor) than any other droid UI on the market.

These very clever and, incidentally, fantastic innovations will only be able to be properly presented by the video below, but before we move on to multimedia, we will definitely say a few words about what the tree is all about.

Everyone has become accustomed to the fact that with today's capacitive touchscreen phones, zooming in the browser or image viewer is done with that particular two-finger method, multitouch. We all remember what a huge miracle this kind of zooming technique was for the first iPhone, but now it seems that it’s not good enough anymore, and it’s not comfortable enough to take up space in a top mobile. That’s why Samsung’s software developers thought, “How good it would be to take advantage of an accelerometer to zoom in,” which, of course, was then implemented.

Yet how does all this work? The acceleration meter in the Galaxy S II is actually able to detect spatial movement on the "Z" axis, and as we move the phone farther and farther away from the face, the browsing interface automatically shrinks, and when we drag it closer, it enlarges, i.e. magnifies.

Another, but less "special" new feature of the new TouchWiz is that you can now switch between the main screens by shaking the PDA left and right, and when trying to place a new item on the screen, you can switch beautifully by tilting the device left and right. between each table, nicely, continuously, without a hint of a hitch.

Everyone obviously suspects that the all-new TW4.0 will not only dazzle the general public with these two accelerometer innovations. There is still a lot left in the Samsung bag, but this time only these two innovative solutions were presented.

Since these are not complicated things, I think everyone has dropped the tantrum, but we all agree that it is better to illustrate such things in a video. All right, be it Children's Day, I won't miss the short film from the end of the article either!
