OnLive is alive!

OnLive is alive!

OnLive is alive!OnLive is the first really good cloud-based gaming platform service. What does this mean? With just a few clicks, there are plenty of serious games unfolding before us, no matter how powerful our machine is.

Once again, OnLive’s latest deal seems like a pretty good move. Currently, an online integration is underway at GameSpot between a well-known gaming site called OnLive. As part of this, a demo will now be added to the game profile, along with the usual screenshots, videos, descriptions and tests that introduce the games. Just two clicks and you have 30 minutes of Red Faction: Guerrilla demo! OnLive CEO Steve Perlman said in a report to Gamasutra that he is very optimistic as it is, in a sense, the company’s largest business partnership to date.

Of course, there are a few prerequisites for this, we need to create a user account and install the OnLive client. These can be done completely free of charge in 10 minutes, anyone within the client can easily create their own profile, so there’s nothing for anyone who wants to try it out, just click on the GameSpot link marked as the source. From here, you will be asked for everything if any of the conditions are not met. If you have both a client and a registration, the game will actually start after a few clicks.

OnLive

OnLive received a lot of criticism at startup for the high latency, but that may have been somewhat a thing of the past since I tried it and it ran perfectly. It’s no worse than playing online multiplayer games in neighboring countries.
