OCZ is leaving the memory market

The reputable manufacturer now wants to focus mostly on the SSD area.

OCZ Technology is also a well-known brand in Hungary, as in addition to SSDs, it also offers a number of great memory packages to customers, but it is also an active player in the power supply market. The manufacturer has officially announced that it will stop manufacturing memory modules and will focus on the SSD line instead. The decision was justified by the low turnover of system memories and the strong growth of the SSD market. The manufacturer will completely shut down production of RAMs by February 28th. The recently released financial report for the third quarter of 2010 mentions sales of $ 53,2 million, of which $ 41,5 million is due to the SSD line. I would like to move the resources freed up by shutting down the RAM department to the SSD area at the company. The complete financial report on this can be found on the page.
