NVIDIA has fully embraced ULi

The giant, which manufactures chipsets and GPUs, has acquired ULi Electronics.

In addition to NVIDIA, ATI also applied for the purchase, which had already prepared everything for the distribution of the chips, but in the end it still failed to grab it because its opponent offered more money for it. As early as February 21, NVIDIA announced the acquisition of Taiwan-based ULi Electronics. What will be his fate? It is certain that the production of low-heat and low-consumption southern bridges will continue, however, NVIDIA will not market the acquired company's products under the name ULi, but instead under its own name (e.g. ULi single-chip solution, NVLIA M1697 instead of ULi M1697).
