MSI also supplies Fermik with the Twin Frozr II refrigerator

MSI plans to launch three new, individually cooled GeForce GTX 400 graphics cards.

In addition to the GTX 480 and GTX 470, the third Fermi-based graphics card, the GTX 465, will also benefit from better-than-factory cooling. Hot-headed Fermi GPUs get the company’s proven Twin Frozr II cooling solution. MSI has previously used this cooling on its ATI HD 5800 series video cards, but now some modifications have been made to it due to higher heat output: MSI’s “high density” reference suggests that aluminum slats will line up more densely. Heat pipes with the fancy name “SuperPipe” with a diameter of 8 mm are retained.

Based on the presentation material, it can be stated that the video cards with this cooler will be marketed as MSI N480, N470 and N465 Twin Frozr II. No information was received about the expected prices, nor about whether some tuning would be done on the cards.
