An unprecedented film experiment involving world-renowned filmmakers Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald with the support of LG.

A world, 24 hours, 6 billion viewpoints! World-renowned filmmakers Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald are using YouTube users to create a complementary documentary shot in a single day. Life in a Day is a historic film experiment made with the active participation of the video-sharing portal community. The creators ask users to record a moment of their lives on Saturday, July 2010, 24, and upload the footage to anyone who wants to appear in the film. www.youtube.com/lifeinaday web address. The film will be screened at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.

From the best shots, Oscar-winning Kevin Macdonald (The State of Things, The Last King of Scotland, Falling into Silence) will be directed into an all-night documentary. The producer will be Ridley Scott (Robin Hood, Gladiator, The Falcon in Danger), and his company, Scott Free Productions, will also be involved in the production. The creators of the recordings used in the completed film will be featured as co-directors, and even 20 of them lucky enough to take part in the 2011 Sundance Film Festival for the world premiere.
