The iGO primoR app can now be used with Pioneer AppRadio

With its latest update, the iGO primo app, available on both iPhone and iPad, can now be paired with Pioneer's AppRadio in-car multimedia unit. The connectivity plug-in will soon be available for download in various regional editions of the iGO primo app, including European, Russian, Turkish, South American, North American and Brazilian.
iGO primo_app_AppRadio_connection NNG Ltd. has announced the release of a new plug-in for the popular iGO primo navigation application, which will allow the application to be integrated with Pioneer's award-winning retail AppRadio product. The compatibility extension will be available in the in-app shop menu of the iGO primo app in the first half of July for € 27,99.

The update will allow iPhone users to extend the iGO primo navigation app to the AppRadio's large car display. This gives users a higher level of safety while driving and clearer and easier-to-use audiovisual assistance. With the new plug-in, iGO primo app and Pioneer AppRadio users can also optimize their spending on in-car services. Additional features available within the app, including Live Traffic, a traffic database, or 3D city packages, further enhance the usability of AppRadio.

Pioneer’s AppRadio is an industry-renowned in-car multimedia solution that offers customized multimedia capabilities, revolutionizing the driving experience. The Eisa Award-winning AppRadio allows drivers to access the calendar, navigation service, photos and more features stored on their iPhone via a wired connection to the Pioneer headunit.

There are currently two AppRadio products available (SPH-SA02 & SPH-DA100). Both the Pioneer AVH-8400BT Audiovisual Headunit and all 2012 in-dash audiovisual navigation units support a feature known as Advanced AppMode, which allows users to control AppRadio-compatible applications through these products.
