The silver knight received water

The only hope against rust is the known paint, or that the silver will rust a little.

Evercool’s new CPU cooler, which seeks to combine the benefits of liquid cooling and air cooling, is called the Silver Knight, originally known as the Silver Knight.

The design mimics the usual heat pipe solution, however, this cooler also requires a pump to flow the refrigerant, which delivers the liquid heated at the base of the cooler to the upper, cooler medium.

The slats are ventilated by a 9-centimeter fan, the speed of which can be controlled. At maximum power, it spins at 2600 per minute, its air delivery is 53,1 cubic feet, and our ears are loaded with 25 dBA of noise. Same values at minimum speed (1800 rpm): air delivery: 36,2 CFM, noise: 17 dBA.

To these values we can add the data of the pump, which can rotate 5 liters of water per hour, all with a noise load of 20 dBA. Evercool’s interesting yet somewhat loud solution can be mounted over LGA775 and Socket 939/940/754 processors, measuring 130 × 126,5 × 165 millimeters and weighing 960 grams. We do not yet have information about the price of the knight.
