Epson has put Full HD in the world of projectors in the past
Seiko Epson Corporation has developed the world's first 4096 x 2160 pixel high-temperature polysilicon (HTPS) TFT liquid crystal panel for 3LCD projectors.
Projectors are being used more and more, and in addition to business presentations, they are now playing an increasingly important role in classrooms, lecture halls, mass events and homes, where more and more HD-resolution programs are available.
With a resolution of 8,85 megapixels, the new 4K panel delivers four times as detailed - and significantly better quality - images as full HD technology (1920 x 1080, 2,1 megapixels), making it an ideal solution for special applications such as industrial and architectural design and simulation, and presentations where four full HD images are projected simultaneously.
Epson a C2 It used Fine technology in the design of the panel and developed a new control process optimized for this resolution that allows images projected at ultra-high resolution to have exceptional brightness and contrast.
