Experts say a strong competitor may have arrived.

In our summary yesterday you may have already read about this new phone, but I left the more detailed report for today.

The world’s first mobile phone with the new Spreadtrum SC9853i processor, the LEAGOO T5c, became, which, as we found out yesterday’s news, was also available for purchase, plus a $ 30 discount on the introductory promotion. can already be purchased in promotions and can now save $ 30 off the retail price. I also put a vote in yesterday’s summary, I was wondering which of the devices listed you would buy. Well, LEAGOO’s mobile has been pushed to last place, its lag is no longer imported.

As you can read in the title, this is a special phone, at least in the sense that it is not the central unit of the big manufacturers, Qualcomm or MediaTek that gives it its strength. This phone features a Spreadtrum SC1,8i processor running at a maximum clock speed of 9853 GHz, built on a 14-nanometer bandwidth and built on Intel’s 64-bit Airmont platform. The manufacturer recommends this SoC for mid-range phones, and tests show it is supposed to outperform its direct competitor, the MediaTek MT39, by 6750 percent. The MediaTek MT6750 was almost dominant in its segment, with very popular eight-core phones built on it at very friendly prices. We hope the new core will really be able to make the huge performance difference described above!

Let's get back to the LEAGOO T5c briefly. There are three cameras in the phone. There is a 5- + megapixel duo on the front and a 13 + 2 megapixel duo on the back. Of the latter, the larger sensor comes from Samsung. According to the news, the aforementioned SoC also supports more powerful cameras, specifically two 16 megapixels are mentioned, which means that we may encounter more serious solutions in the future than the LEAGOO phone. This mobile has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM, which is perfectly appropriate in its category. The display is based on IPS technology, 5,5 inches and FHD, i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. A 2,5D, curved-edged glass stretches above the panel. The device uses a Smart Key ceramic fingerprint scanner for our identification, the battery has a capacity of 3050 mAh.

Reading the above, I hope you also feel that the number of votes obtained in yesterday’s summary greatly underestimates the capabilities of the phone, but this is understandable as both the phone and the SoC are so new that many have not heard of it so far.

In any case, the phone can be purchased for $ 99, or about HUF 26, which we think is a good price.
