Samsung Electronics, the world’s leading manufacturer of mobile phones and telecommunications equipment, unveiled the G400 mobile phone at CeBit this week, the first dual-screen clamshell phone.
The Samsung G400, the company’s flagship Soul mobile phone, also follows in design and knowledge, but this time molded into a shell shape.
Like the Soul, the Samsung G400 has a brand new graphical user interface (GUI) that offers users three different choices. The “GUI skin” allows users to adjust the display according to their mood depending on their mood. The display can be customized with various options such as wallpapers, fonts and colors.
In addition to the internal 2.22 TFT LCD display, the Samsung G400 also has a 2.22 ”external full touch screen display. On the external display, users can operate multimedia applications without having to open the device and receive vibration feedback when using the full touch screen.
The external touch panel allows you to use the following multimedia content without any problems: FM radio, music playback, camera and photo album. Phone-centric devices can be accessed from the internal display. When the phone is on, the user can choose what to display on the external display: wallpaper, digital clock, analog clock or calendar. In addition, SMS / MMS reports, alarm function or reminders can be viewed directly on the large external display.
The Samsung G400 is equipped with state-of-the-art technology solutions such as a 5 megapixel camera and digital camera features such as Auto Face Detection, Image Stabilizer and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). Users can enjoy fast Internet access with 7.2 Mbps High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and instantly share our images and videos captured with the phone using the browser. With the help of a secondary camera, video calling is also possible in places with HSDPA coverage.
The Samsung G400 will be available across Europe from June.
