The first Fusion Notebook

Techpowerup employees received a laptop built around the Brazos platform, which comes from MSI’s workshop.

Micro-Star International has created its first proprietary notebook built around the AMD Brazos platform, the Fusion product line. The MSI CR650 features an E-350 that includes two x86 processor cores and a Radeon 6310 graphics accelerator. The latter handles 80 stream processors and ticks at 500 MHz, with the two CPU cores clocked at 1,6 GHz. The maximum power consumption of the E-350 is 18 watts, so the battery life will be much longer than average. The laptop itself has been given a 15,6-inch display with a maximum resolution of 1.366 × 766 pixels. The repertoire also includes an HDMI, a D-sub and an HD Webcam.
