The first Brazos-based HP netbook

The HP Pavilion dm1z also introduces AMD Fusion, the current most powerful model.

HP also unveiled its first netbook built around the AMD Brazos platform. The product has the most powerful model, the E-350, so the two CPU cores are ticking at 1,6 GHz, and the Radeon 11 graphics unit, which supports DirectX 6310, is ticking at 500 MHz. The maximum resolution of the 11,6-inch display is 1366 × 768 pixels. In terms of memory, 2GB of DDR3 is built-in, but this can be expanded up to 8GB. Instead of a traditional 250 GB hard drive, you can also choose a 128 GB SSD (in this case, a reasonable surcharge is payable). Of course, the integrated voice codec, network controller, WLAN, webcam and card reader are also missing from the repertoire. The connectors are D-Sub, HDMI and three USB. The 6-cell battery provides 9,5 hours of operation. You can choose 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium or 64-bit Windows 7 Professional for your operating system.
