ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced the Matrix R9 280X graphics cards
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the release of the Matrix R9 280X Platinum and Standard.
The two graphics cards feature AMD's latest Radeon ™ R9 280X graphics processing units (GPUs). The new cards swell with exclusive technologies and devices such as an efficient, pure copper cooling solution for 20 percent cooler and three times quieter operation than the reference, VGA Hotwire connectors for voltage control, DIGI + voltage regulator modules (VRMs) for smooth, for stable power supply as well as easy-to-use GPU Tweak tuning software.
The R9 280X Platinum GPU operates at 1100 MHz, 100 megahertz higher than the reference.
The ROG Matrix R9 280X Platinum and Matrix R9 280X will be available worldwide from October 11th. Domestic recommended gross end-user prices are as follows:
