The Asus E45M-1 Pro has been released under the auspices of Zacate ASUS has announced its latest Mini-ITX motherboard, which is of course powered by the latest Fusion APU.

AMD recently made available Fusion APUs, codenamed E-450, which has now been incorporated into Asus ’latest Zacate platform shaping system. Thanks to this, the Asus E45M-1 Pro is already ticking at 1,65 GHz, as well as two Bobcat cores hidden under the enclosure, to which the memory controller that handles DDR3 1333 MHz memories is closely connected. It also has a PCI-e 2.0 16x interface, a PCI-Express 1x and two traditional PCI slots; and the indispensable IGP, which here is the HD 6320, which has 80 cores, to which are connected three connectors, a DVI, an HDMI and finally a D-SUB.

There is also a 6-channel sound card on the motherboard to which the 7.1 SPDIF Optical Output is connected. There are two more USB 3.0 ports here and several USB 2.0, Firewire is not left behind, Ethernet is also present of course and a bit back to the inside, we also get 5 + 1 SATA III and eSATA ports.

The APU is powered by a three-phase VRM and has no problem with properly controlled power consumption by Asus EPU chip. The UEFI firmware that drives the motherboard can be controlled using Asus' EZ-Mode, which is also natural for Asus motherboards. The cooling of the processor and the motherboard has been solved with a single rib, so it is completely silent, which also makes it ideal for building HTPCs. Its physical extent is 244 x 183 mm.
