The Xtion PRO developer competition takes place online
In order to promote a whole new way to connect to PCs, ASUS has launched a competition for participants to create a new game or application that takes advantage of the new Xtion PRO’s gesture-based controls. The Xtion PRO SDK is also OpenNI-compliant, meaning the platform is available to users with very different levels of programming. In this competition, the programming language to be used is either C ++ or C #.
All games and applications must use ASUS Xtion PRO and meet the following minimum system requirements:

- System memory: 2 GB Video card: Supports DX9.0 or later
- Video memory: 1 GB
- Resolution: 1280 x 720 screen resolution
Categories and usage:
- Games - Sports games, car racing, tutorials, puzzles, etc.
- Multimedia - Applications that use photos, music, or videos stored on your computer.
