ASUS has announced the MS-100 USB Speaker and the HS-W1 Wireless USB Headset
ASUS has announced two new USB audio devices: the compact MS-100 USB stereo speaker pair and the HS-W1 wireless USB headset. Both devices play sounds in an impressive, spectacular look, fantastic quality, and are literally “ready to use” - all in such a small size that it’s so easy to pack and take them with you.
MS-100 USB speaker
The MS-100 is a compact pair of stereo USB speakers powered by a single USB 2.0 (or 3.0) port, yet capable of playing strong, distortion-free sounds. Its minimalist, definitely Art Deco style conical design evokes the shape of classic speakers, making it a perfect fit for any home or office environment. Inside, the large 54mm speakers can deliver up to 93 decibels of sound with less than 3% distortion, with rich treble, mid and powerful bass.
No additional software is required on Windows® Vista® and Windows® 7, making it a great solution for any desktop or laptop that needs better sound right away.
HS-W1 wireless USB headset
Offering clear, bright sounds for maximum comfort, the HS-W1 headset is made with large 70mm ear pads for long-lasting, natural comfort. The 1 GHz wireless technology used in the HS-W2,4 headset allows CD-quality (44,1 kHz / 16 bit, uncompressed) audio to be transmitted between the miniature USB adapter and the headset, while providing twice the range. like bluetooth audio. Combined with acoustically tuned 40mm speakers and a built-in equalizer, you can highlight vocals and fine detail, or add a little extra bass if needed.
