ASUS has announced the release of the Transformer Book T100

The ASUS Transformer Book T100 is a 10,1-inch, ultra-portable notebook based on Intel's quad-core Atom “Bay Trail” Z3740 processor, with a detachable 1366 x 768-inch screen that can also be used as a standalone Windows 8.1 tablet.

With a sleek, durable design, the Transformer Book is one of the lightest laptops currently available, and one of the lightest among the 10-inch tablets. The 10,5-inch tablet screen of the Transformer Book, which is only 10,1 mm thick, provides a 178-degree viewing angle with IPS technology. The lightweight keyboard dock includes a precision-machined keyboard and a multi-finger touchpad that fully supports Windows 8.1 gestures.
