AOC is expanding its B2B monitor offering
With the launch of the AOC Q2790PQU QHD display in September, AOC is expanding its latest 90 series of business monitors. Because monitors are one of the most important work tools for (home) office workers, choosing the right model (s) can have a significant impact on long-term business success. The AOC outlines a number of considerations that you should consider before purchasing a new monitor for work.
One of the most common health problems for office workers is back and neck pain, which has a significant impact on employee well-being. Ergonomic adjustment options allow workers to maintain a comfortable and healthy posture while working. For example, the I90PXQU, I2490PQU and Q2790PQU models of the AOC 2790 Series also offer a 130 mm high setting, -5 / + 25 degree tilt, 165 / + 165 degree rotation and pivot mode (possibility to rotate the display to vertical position). This allows the monitors to be tailored to the individual needs of the user. Eye strain is another common problem for office workers. Eye-friendly Flicker-Free technology is included in all AOC 90 Series models and adjusts screen brightness without pulse width modulation (PWM) to reduce flicker.
Two or more side-by-side monitors significantly increase productivity, making multi-monitor setup common in many offices. The larger space provided by the additional screen allows users to browse different applications and files simultaneously without constantly closing, moving or resizing windows. This makes it much easier to compare two or more documents side by side or use multiple applications at the same time. The 90 Series monitors have almost invisible side frames, providing a seamless multi-monitor experience without annoying interruptions between screens.
Another important factor in a large monitor is resolution: the more pixels a monitor provides, the more programs and visual detail can be displayed at once. Therefore, a Full HD resolution of at least 1920 × 1080 pixels is recommended for all users. The models in the AOC 90 series are mostly Full HD monitors. The exception is the soon-to-be-released AOC Q2790PQU, which boasts an even larger QHD resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. This monitor is designed for demanding professionals who need even better resolution to use video editing, detailed spreadsheets, and other applications.
