AMD has responded to NVIDIA's price cuts
GeForce GTX 260 and Radeon HD 4870 for under $ 200.

However, the ATI Radeon HD 25, launched on June 4870, was also a more attractive offer due to its performance and $ 299 price, which NVIDIA was only able to offset through multiple price reductions, resulting in the two VGAs having to pay the same price. Recently, however, NVIDIA has pledged another price cut, making the GT192 260s with 199 shades now available for $ 219-216 and the 239 SPs for $ 249-XNUMX from larger online stores.
AMD also responded immediately to NVIDIA's move, reducing the price of the 512MB ATI Radeon HD 4870 to $ 199 and the 1GB to $ 239. With this, the price of the above-mentioned high-end video cards - with a slight exaggeration of course - dropped to the usual level in the middle category.
