ATI Radeon HD 4890: photos and 3DMark scores
The debut of AMD’s latest high-end rider is imminent, and as it used to be, more and more information is coming to light.
After looking at the photos, we can look at the HD 4890 with a bitter taste, as the graphics card, which debuted on April 6, according to some sources, inherited the much-criticized cooling of its predecessor, the HD 9, which is even more saddening in the face of higher clock speeds. but whoever has a little to bake does not choose from the versions equipped with a factory refrigerator anyway.
Before ventilated specifications have also been confirmed by the following GPU-Z screen saver: in English, the RV790 GPU operates at 850 MHz and the 1 GB GDDR5 memory effectively operates at 3,9 GHz.
The 128-bit memory bus shouldn’t fool anyone, it’s actually 256-bit. The application does not yet officially support the HD 4890, which is the reason for the incomplete or incorrect set of information here and there.
Ukrainian Overclockers.com.ua also provided 3DMark scores for the novelty: the HD 4890 against the Radeon HD 4870 and Radeon HD 4870 X2, as well as the GeForce GTX 260 and GeForce GTX 285, respectively, an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU, accompanied by an Intel X48 motherboard and 4GB of memory, it achieved the following 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage scores.
