Everyone still remembers the patent dispute between Samsung and Apple that took place just two months ago, which ended in the fact that the Dutch court had given Samsung the truth on most points, but they also think that the handling of photographs is too similar to the way Apple uses it, therefore, the sale of several Samsung smartphones has been banned in the Netherlands. Samsung appears to have accepted the court’s decision and, instead of continuing its legal tug-of-war, is redesigning the devices ’software.

In its lawsuit filed in August, Apple attacked Samsung on 10 points for infringement of various patent rights, including the fact that Samsung simply copied the look of Apple devices. Therefore, the Cupertino company has asked the court to ban the sale of Samsung smartphones and tablets. At one point, the court ruled against the apples in the case against the way the photos were handled and temporarily banned the sale of Samsung’s top phone, the Galaxy S2, its predecessor, the Galaxy S, and the mid-range Galaxy Ace. On the other points, however, it dismissed Apple's action.

Samsung doesn’t seem to want to lose any market, so they preferred to rewrite the program code for the parts in question by the October 14 deadline set by the court. Samsung spokesman James Chung said they have fixed all the technical problems and improved the devices and will start selling their products again as soon as possible. However, he refused to reveal the exact date.
