Here is the final specification, new Zenbooks from ASUS are coming soon!

As Intel rolls its new Ivy Bridge processors off its production lines, ASUS ’ultrabook offering will also be updated. These are exactly the 11,6-inch and 13,3-inch ASUS Zenbooks.

In terms of design, the 2 newcomers will be very similar to their predecessors, and the exact model numbers will only differ by a single “A”. The 11,6-inch UX21A and 13,3-inch will be called the UX31A. The real difference, of course, will be under the hood.

As mentioned above and we have been harassed before, the hearts of Zenbooks will be Ivy Bridge processors with Intel’s soon-to-debut 22-nanometer manufacturing technology. The smallest of the 1,8 GHz Core i3-3217U, the “middle” of the 2,4 GHz Core i5-3317U, and the strongest of the 2,8 GHz Core i7-3517U user the one that best meets your needs.

The displays can optionally be Full HD IPS panels (the default 21 × 1366 for the UX768A and 31 x 1600 for the UX900A is the “initial resolution”) The Optimus solution mentioned above was not considered in the present situation, thus, its absence cannot be denied or confirmed, but since only an integrated graphics controller has been included in the specification, it is likely that the dedicated cards will now be left out of the competition. So the task will be solely on the Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics controller.

The system memory can be 2 or 4 gigabytes of DDR3L. Our storage can grow up to 256 gigabytes, which SSD provides us. And the standard and mandatory accessories can't be missed now, so we are provided with Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, WiDI (Intel Wireless Display), SDXC card reader, micro HSMI output, 2 USB 3.0 ports and a backlit keyboard.

ASUS has a running time of 7 hours for the smaller machine and 5 hours for the larger machine. The end-user price for the UX21A (11,6 ”) will start at $ 1050 and the end-user price for the UX31A will start at $ 1100.
