Asus W1 Carbon Edition: Notebook with carbon fiber cover
Asus has unveiled its latest laptop, marketed as the W1.
The main features of the computer are:
- 1,86 GHz Pentium M 750 processor
- 1 GB 533 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
- 100 GB hard drive, 5400 RPM
- Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi 802.11b / g, 56K V.92 modem
- USB 2.0, Firewire
- Analog / digital TV tuner
- DVD Super Multi Drive
- 128 MB ATI Radeon X700
- 15,4-inch WSXGA + resolution (1680 × 1050) TFT LCD
However, the biggest novelty of the Asus W1 Carbon Edition is the carbon fiber cover, which provides greater protection against external influences. The machine will go on sale in some computer chains in England in December for £ 1400, or about half a million forints.
