ASUS Silent Knight: copper cooler for dual-core processors

ASUS Silent Knight's processor cooler base, fins and heat sink pipes are also made of copper.

With the exception of the fan, the Silent Knight is an all-copper processor cooler with a blue LED illumination for a unique look, while its low weight (610 grams) reduces the load on the motherboard.

ASUS cooling unit includes Intel Core 2 Duo series, dual-core Pentium D CPUs, Pentium 4 LGA775 and Socket 478 processors, and AMD Socket AM2 / 940/939/754 integrated Athlon 64 FX, Athlon 64 and Sempron supports units.

The air deflector inside the cooler directs the airflow generated by the 9,2 cm fan to the surrounding VRM (voltage regulator) modules, which play a critical role in the safe operation of the CPU and the entire system. This unique design keeps the VRM temperature 10-15 degrees Celsius lower.

The fan speed is 2200 rpm, the complete chiller has dimensions of 115 × 140 × 110 mm.

With the help of the mounting module, you can easily and quickly mount the heat sink on the processor without having to remove the motherboard from the computer case or the memory modules.
