The ASUS TUF Series SABERTOOTH 990FX / GEN3 R2.0 is the world's first AMD processor board to be equipped with PCI Express 3.0 slots to accommodate the next generation of high-performance graphics cards.
The three PCI Express 3.0 slots can accommodate up to three DirectX® 11, NVIDIA® SLI ™ or AMD CrossFireX ™ graphics cards, which can deliver serious graphics performance to desktop PCs. ASUS TUF Series motherboards are designed to provide outstanding reliability and long life even in harsh operating conditions. The SABERTOOTH 990FX / GEN3 R2.0 is equipped with two heat pipe cooling fins with a CeraMIX microporous surface for even better heat dissipation, and Thermal Radar technology provides precise temperature monitoring and independent fan control.
