ASUS ROG G74Sx: gaming notebook on Sandy Bridge platform with 3D

The Republic of Gamers line amplifier features Intel's Huron River platform and GeForce GTX 560M GPU.

The new laptop comes with a 17-inch 3D display, backlit keyboard, Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 16GB of memory and a webcam. It has an HDMI 1.4a output, which makes it easy to export the image even to a 3D HDTV. The graphics are provided by the already mentioned GeForce GTX 560M. It is not mentioned in the source, however, the pictures show a USB 3.0 port and we can be sure that under the attractive exterior you will also find WiFi, Bluetooth, a card reader, some USB 2.0 ports and other standard components. The cooling has been specially solved by ASUS, there are no gaps at the bottom so if you like to use your notebook in bed or keep a pet, its good news, the cooling opening will not close so easily.

The ROG G74Sx can be viewed by lucky ones at CeBIT in Hanover, however, information on a possible purchase price has not yet been leaked.
