ASUS HD3870 X3 - 3DMark06 score and details
Although we were highly suspicious, it doesn’t even seem like an April Fool’s joke with ASUS ’new three-core video card!
We hope you have a pleasant time on the first day of April! We hope we managed to enhance the good mood too! Next year will be April 1st, until then we can’t provide news like this. 🙂 (I spent half an hour separately with compression errors, but I think that part of the news went well)
As the editors in the Far East promised, the first measurement had arrived with the new card. The score is extremely encouraging, as we managed to get above 30 points on a base clock signal (with an overdriven processor).
The screenshot shows that the card has 512 MB of GGDR4 memory per core, with a factory clock of 1000 MHz. Next to it, the graphics cores run at 700 MHz. The memory bus, also 256 bits wide per core, has a throughput of 76,8 GB per second.
