Arctic Cooling passive cooling unit for high-end video cards

The Arctic Cooling Accelero S1, recommended for high-performance video cards, will be available from the end of May at a suggested retail price of € 24.

The Arctic Cooling Accelero S1950, which can be mounted on the ATI Radeon X1900, X1800 and X7950 and NVIDIA GeForce 7900, 7800, 6800 and 1 video cards, has dimensions of 140 × 215 × 32 mm and a weight of 290 grams.

From the copper surface in contact with the graphics processor, four heat-dissipating tubes, each 6 mm away, transfer heat to the heatsink, which consists of 32 aluminum sheets. The memories are cooled by the small heat sinks included in the package. In this case, too, Arctic Cooling offers a six-year warranty on its product.

For mid-range video card owners, the Accelero S2 is recommended, which boasts only two heat sinks, yet provides plenty of power to power either a Radeon X1650 or a GeForce 7600 passively.
