Minor changes to the XFX GeForce 8800 GT

The Alpha Dog stands out from the line of "ordinary" GeForce 8800 GTs with an increased clock speed and minor technical modifications.

For the GeForce 8800 GT Alpha Dog, the XFX was the first to adapt the design of the heat sink hidden from view to a larger cooling fan than its reference models. As a result, the graphics processor’s original 600 MHz clock has been upgraded to 25 MHz, all with its average temperature dropped by about 8 degrees Celsius. It is disappointing, however, that the operating frequency of the memory has not changed.

The black PCB and the aluminum strip placed on the side are for aesthetic purposes only, but these changes are all little things that can make the card special and even more appealing to the prospective owner.
