Aopen prefers to use mobile chipsets on motherboards for desktop PCs and to build mini PCs. The MP96-DR is also based on Intel's latest 965GM + ICH8M notebook chipset. Chipset features are complemented by features such as an optional Bluetooth and Wi-Fi controller, HDMI output and a card reader that also uses Intel Turbo Memory technology. However, the real special feature is the built-in Blu-ray reader.

Of course, the MP965-DR also comes with a remote control from the manufacturer, so you can get a Vista Premium mini PC. Of course, you don't have to use Microsoft's latest system yet, AOpen will run older versions of Media Center without any problems.
