Virtually no more Angry Birds are running on the toaster and fridge now.

Rovio and Samsung have teamed up to create a TV version of the game. For the Samsung Smart ES7000, ES8000 and ES9000 series models, owners can download the popular game from the Samsung TV App Store. Angry birds can be controlled with a motion sensor on the TV - no remote control is needed, we have enough hands to control it - which can definitely be an interesting, exciting experience. According to the news, the story doesn’t stop there yet, as they haven’t yet taken advantage of another big throw from Samsung Smart TVs, voice control.

It’s clear that television still has a lot of potential - Rovio hopes the apps in the Samsung App store will make that more and more pronounced. One thing is for sure: modern parents have been given a new weapon against the extinction of their seedlings.
