Anet E10 3D Printer - Another Yummy Introductory Sale Until July 24th!
You can already meet the Anet printer family on our pages. So far, we have introduced two types, the Anet A6 and the Anet A8. The printer in the current introductory campaign is a significant leap in quality compared to the pieces presented so far, and you can save $ 70, or HUF 20, during the duration of the campaign. Let's see the details!
The Anet E10 now unveiled differs from its predecessors in two very significant ways. One is that the frame structure of the printer is finally made of aluminum rather than plexiglass, the other is that the entire control structure is housed in a separate housing so that it does not burden the structure of the printer. Based on the attached video (you’ll find a link to it at the bottom of the page), it seems that while it’s also a DIY, i.e. home-assembled model, it’s not even as much as, say, the Anet A8. Based on the film, 3 larger pieces arrive, the control, the tray, and the vertical frame on which the printhead moves.
The Anet A6 and A8, although said to have good print accuracy, have been the subject of much criticism for the quality of the parts. The most problematic parts are the frame pieces cut out of plexiglass, which could have had better fitting accuracy.
In the case of the Anet E10, this will no longer be a problem, as the aluminum structure fixed with screws ensures a stable support. This can also help increase printing accuracy and reduce the number of malfunctions caused by incorrect setup.
The Anet A10 is the biggest of the 3 siblings anyway, at least in terms of the size of the printable items. The maximum printable size is 220 x 270 x 300 millimeters, the platform plate is made of aluminum. The machine has a nozzle with a diameter of 0,4 millimeters and an operating temperature of 260 degrees. The Anet A6 3D printer has a print speed of 0,1 to 0,4 millimeters per second with a layer thickness of 40 to 120 millimeters. Fibers made of ABS, HIPS and PLA with a diameter of 1,75 millimeters can be used for printing. The positioning accuracy of the XY axis is 0,015 and that of the Z axis is 0,004 millimeters.
The printer measures 40 x 44 x 49,5 centimeters and weighs 7,8 kilograms. The printer also comes with Windows software called Cura, so you can print directly from your computer, but you can also transfer the created models to the printer on a microSD card. Supported file formats are STL and G-Code. The settings can be made on the machine's LCD before printing.
Finally, let’s deal a little with the current action. The world premiere of the Anet E10 is July 24. The period until then is about the introductory campaign, in which, as we have become accustomed to, we get a serious discount on the price. In this case, instead of $ 368, we have to pay $ 300. This corresponds to a saving of HUF 20! It is important to know that in the pre-order promotion, the product will come from a Chinese warehouse. GearBest has introduced several shipping methods in recent months that, according to GearBest, we do not have to pay customs duties and VAT on products coming from a Chinese warehouse either. Such is the case with the optional EU Express, which, based on feedback so far, really works as if we had ordered from within Europe. Although the feedback so far has been positive, we wouldn’t put our lives on it because we can’t run into a duty one time or another.
Of course, even if this is the case, the price of the Anet E10 3D printer will still be very friendly, as even the simplest aluminum frame structure currently available on the Product Finder will cost 170 thousand forints, as opposed to the Anet E10. thousand forints, and if we have to pay customs duties, it will cost roughly 87 thousand forints. This means a price difference of 110 thousand forints in the best case, but 80 thousand forints in the worse case.
