Samsung has launched a mobile phone with Android

The Galaxy i7500 device offered by the Italian provider "Wind" can be expected to be a resounding success.

The air is glowing around Google’s operating system, even though there are currently only a few carriers offering a mobile phone running Android. This situation could be significantly changed by the Samsung Galaxy, which is now available to Italian users after German and French customers. Once again, the main attraction of the device lies in the Android system, but we will not be disappointed when looking at the additional capabilities of the device: the display is a 320 × 480 pixel resolution, touch-sensitive AMOLED panel, which also serves as the primary input body. Wi-Fi and HSDPA radios provide fast data transfer and a built-in GPS receiver for navigation. On the multimedia line, the use of a 5-megapixel camera is important, which is assisted by an autofocus system and an LED flash.

In addition to the above, the purchase price of the device with a slot for receiving microSD cards and a 3,5 mm audio output will be around EUR 110.
